Mutagenesis: (2019 - 2021)

This collection of imagery works on the notion of mutagenesis. Where trauma becomes a pathogen that alters and mutates the human form whilst exploring traumatic subconscious negative reality. These shadow mutations are representations of anger, sadness and pain in both aura and form. Yet, these otherworldly demonic entities, parasites and alien creatures have a stark beauty in symmetry and design.

By shooting through coloured glass and strong lighting it creates a dark contrast giving a blood-red glow to the imagery. This, in turn, offers insight into a very personal expression of trauma.
